Lynch Elementary was named after George M. Lynch, Pinellas County Schools Superintendent (1928-1935). The original Lynch Elementary school was built in 1958 and was renovated in 2011 while keeping the elements of the original school to honor the school’s past. Bricks from the original building were used in the new center courtyard and the original school letters were used in the second entrance to the school.

Lynch is a Title 1 school which means we receive federal funding to allocate resources towards our core learning objectives in reading and math. In addition, Lynch  offers affordable before and after care through the YMCA and provides free breakfast and lunch to all students!

Your child can engage in extracurricular actives that include the chess, math, reading & journalism clubs, 4-H and classroom gardens. In addition, we offer special programs such as STARS (Students Targeted for Achievement Recognition and Success), gifted classes, ESOL, STEP and so much more.

Our school is nestled near a lake in the Meadowlawn community where you can see various species of birds enjoying a swim or even basking in the sunlight. We are located at 1901 71st Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL.
